At this very moment, I just got it all running!
What I had to do to make all work was:
- Copy three files to ~/.tex/fonts:
AnnSton.fd AnnSton.pfb AnnSton.tfm
- Set some environment vars:
TEXINPUTS=".:~/.tex//:/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex//:"
TEXFON
