What I had to do to make all work was: - Copy three files to ~/.tex/fonts: AnnSton.fd AnnSton.pfb AnnSton.tfm - Set some environment vars: TEXINPUTS=".:~/.tex//:/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex//:" TEXFONTS="~/.tex//:/usr/share/texmf/fonts//:" XDVIINPUTS="~/.tex//" GS_FONTPATH="/home/jonne/.tex/fonts" export TEXINPUTS TEXFONTS XDVIINPUTS GS_FONTPATH The XDVIINPUTS was enough to get xdvi working. GS_FONTPATH also made kghostview work. ggv still not working at the moment ...
