Hi Developers
It would make navigation a lot easier for large documents if we had the
the ability to generate a contents of Chapters at the start.
Plus a more detailed contents page at the start of each Chapter.

Hi
Apart from LyX, am using quite extensively emacs with org-mode for literate
programming and keeping track of documentation in my programs. One feature
which I love about org-mode is folding: I can fold all sections I am not
working on at the moment, and can unfold all headings apart from the bo

Hi lyx developers,
I present a feature idea and its extension with rapid document

I was experimenting with the lyx code and I found I could get a menu
to popup upon right-clicking on the TOC. This can be used to insert

I just read the lyx the latest LyX development news, and noted that
there are great interface improvements in the pipeline: cutomisable
toolbars (I am looking forward to insert floats from the toolbar!), more
structured menus, and new icons. When will lyx-1.3.4 (or 1.4.0) arrive?
