Dear Paul, Yes it works, many thanks. My upcoming set of lecture notes was the first thing I had written Lyx 1.2.3 and my first time with FoilTex. I got used to entering \mathtt etc by hand in Lyx 1.1 and as I got the brackets I never suspect Lyx further. Best wishes, David Paul A. Rubin w
