Seems to be a "quirk" of LaTeX specific to typewriter font. Since typewriter font is intended to have fixed spacing, LaTeX can't justify things evenly. There's a fix at http://newsgroups.derkeiler.com/Archive/Comp/comp.text.tex/2005-09/msg4.html that works on your document if you don't mi
