I have just installed lyx version 1.1.3 from rpm.
For every character I type in the lyx window,I get the message:
enter process
finished variables
normalkey
in the xterm in which I started lyx. What does it means? and how
suppress this?
Thank you.

sure whether the following situation on a RH 6.1 is relevant.
I tried to use LyX 1.1.3-1, installed with the RPMS from ftp.sylvan.com.
When I try to change language and write in greek, LyX crashes and dumps
core, whenever I press Shift+u to produce the capital greek letter

Hi,

pressing the spacebar does not introduce additional spaces (on the screen) but jumps
back either to the text mode or back to normal-mode from subscript mode!
Thanks for any help.

Dr. Murali
Hi,
I recently upgrade my lyx-1.0.4 to 1.1.3 and noted that while 1.0.4
uses extended characters as accentuated [aeiou], 1.1.3 produces in
source clasical latex code: \' [aeou] and \'{\i}. Also They seems to be
some extrange high accent ao they in the screen.

I promptly fetched and built Lyx-1.1.3 on our Sparc-Solaris-2.6
workstations. I'm delighted to see that bugs in LyX-1.1.1 have been
fixed, and that Compose-key sequences that did not work in Lyx-1.1.1
now work. Kudos to the developers.
My two questions concern the stderr messages tha

Note that the internal code changes have been great, so unwanted bugs
might have sneaked in. No serious bugs have been reported, but use
with care.
