Hi all,
I'm making a layout file, based on Document Class "Book (Standard Class
with Extra Font Sizes)". After investigation on my Void Linux computer
with TeXLive, I found that
/usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/latex/extsizes/extbook.cls
provides class "extbook" and has code

I've been away from LyX for a while, and was still a beginner when I was with
it last. I've done the tutorial, but that was a few months ago, and things are

Hello all,
I've tried to change an article's document class to "article (more

of 10).
However, I could not export the article; I got a LaTeX error

Hi,
I asked this already some time ago but I lost the answer:
The font size of the menu bar (File Edit View ...) is crontrolled by some
gnome-program (?). Can someone tell me which one?

I'm using LyX in multiple lynx environments. In every case I use the
latest version available in that Linux distro's officially sanctioned
repositories. (It's the best way I know to keep the package manager from
breaking something when I let it update my system...)
At the moment I'm using Open
You can change the size of the fonts used on the screen by LyX with the menu

( sorry if it isn't the same name : I use the french translation !)
Then
Change Zoom
Sometimes you must restart Lyx For the change to take place.

Why don't you generate the .pdf file (+v,f) and zoom the text

Hi all. Is it possible to enlarge the font sizes for the

Hi
I sometimes (accidentally) post links to pages in a beta-version(*) of the
LyX wiki site because I'm working on updating the wiki software. These
pages "should" also work, but they might be temporarily broken.
All pages in the beta site should have a red warning text at the top:

Hello list,
The font sizes available in the Format --> Character --> Size go from Small to
Normal to Large and beyond.
To what point sizes do these correspond?
For example does "normal" correspond to 12 point size?
More specifically I need to make the title 16 point, the
Hi,
I've checked on the web, but haven't found how to change the font size in the menu
bar, dropdowns & dialogs in Lyx. I've managed for X, QT and GTK based applications,
but Lyx does not seem to have noticed the various configuration file settings...
Thanks,
Jason.

Hi,
Is there a way by which I can change the font size of multiple entries in a
table in an efficient way? Right now, I'm selecting the text in each cell
and then doing Layout->Character and changing the font. This is a bit
tedious if the table has a large number of entries.
Thanks,

Dear LyX users,
is there a way (preferences, preamble) to increase the font sizes in
equations and/or specify a minimum font size in equations?
I'm using LyX 1.1.6.
