I sometimes (accidentally) post links to pages in a beta-version(*) of the
LyX wiki site because I'm working on updating the wiki software. These
pages "should" also work, but they might be temporarily broken.
All pages in the beta site should have a red warning text at the top:
Warning: This is a beta site, _here_ is the real page.
where 'here' is a link to the "real" version of the page.
Converting a URI to the beta site is trivial, just remove 'beta', i.e.
http://wiki.lyx.org/beta/pmwiki.php/FAQ/Using
corresponds to http://wiki.lyx.org/pmwiki.php/FAQ/Using

(*) The beta site is used to test after upgrading the wiki software or
adding a new feature such as automatic generation of table of contents.
However, the contents of the beta site and the "real" site are the same.
