Sounds like you updated your TeX installation, so it is not a LyX issue
and more help can be obtained on TeX related lists. But it's about to
be fixed anyway.

By MWEing the created TeX file and running LuaLaTeX on it, I found that
the problem disappears when I commented out \input refstyle , except
that *then* other problems happ
