Hello
Edit your /home/user/.lyx/preferences file and add the following line at the beginning
of the LANGUAGE SUPPORT SECTION :
\bind "F12" "language arabic"
To mix english and arabic in the same sentence, you have just to switch from a
language to an other using F12 key.

I have successfully enabled arabic setting to my LyX 1.3.0 (Thanks to Dekel
Tsur). But i still can't use F12 to change arabic mode and english mode,
although i have the line

in my .lyx/bind/bind file (which there wasn't any file in .lyx/bind/) Was it
