I'm trying to find a content markup system (authoring and processing) that can
output to various formats. Something which can be both viewed and printed,
such as PDF, is probably a must, and something easily accessed online, such as
HTML is close behind. If I could also produce CHM (or similar) Wi

Hi, all.
I figured I'd send a quick query to the list about using LyX with
Docbook/XML. I know there's been a little bit of traffic on this in the
past, but I haven't seen anything recently, and my searches online haven't
turned up much else, either.

I can't comment on the ability of the script to do the task you set it, but
here's some comments on the script itself:
Isn't "function" a bash-ism? You can just use "lyxvalue" here.

My intention is to create a LDP Guide and/or Howto.

SGML or XML
Any advice?

Peter,
Thanks very much! This is very helpful indeed.

Hello all,
Is there somebody who succesfully uses Lyx to build Docbook documents?
And with documents I mean not only following the template included in Lyx,
but the whole thing: prefaces, appendices, FAQ's, etc.
Maybe someome can point me to some examples?
Thanks,
Peter
