I'm trying to compile and install LyX 1.3.6 from source on Mac OS 10.4.2, and
I've found that the instructions for installation included with the package
don't work. First of all, the instructions suggest using gcc 2.95.2 to compile
both QT and LyX -- but this compiler is not included with Tiger's
Thanks to everyone for the help. Coverting linebreaks from Mac style to UNIX
style does the trick (though might it not be possible to program LyX to do this
step for us?).
