Gewohnheit eine Neukonfiguration. Mein Betriebssystem ist Windows 10
64bit und ich habe Miktex mit neusten Updates.

I have the following Problem: I want to put a logo in the upper left
corner of a document of the lyx document class letter (g-brief, German).
So I added a picture to "Name". This resulted in what I desired
regarding the upper left corner, BUT the name is also used in the
Senders A

What have I done different this time for it to work?

I try to get the emailsymbol from the marvosym package into a LyX
document (cv).
I do the following:
1. in the LaTeX Preamble for the document I write:
\usepackage{marvosym}
2. where the symbol should be in my document I write in ERT:
\Email

get Lyx 1.5. to work (which I couldn't do with beta1 on my transmeta
crusoe notebook running winxp - see previous post for details)

Is there any way to give you more information? Is there some logfile
whose content I could post to help, or some startup option for LyX, that
gives a more detailed error?
I can only say that the standard windows binary alway worked for me out
of the box with LyX 1.4.

upon completed installation (seemingly without problems) I try to run
