LyX won't read files written by LyX 1.5 unless you save them explicitly as
LyX 1.4 file type.
Sorry for the inaccuracy!

I think "Replace All" would save a lot of time and avoid many unneeded

(and hence chances of mistake). Is it feasible for LyX 1.5 stable?

I dowloaded LyX from the website, not from SVN -- maybe that's the
reason
we're getting different results? Maybe the SVN version already corrected that
problem.

Leo,
Hi everybody,
I am considering switching from TeTex to Texlive. Is there any problem
or
issue I should be aware of when working with TexLive and LyX?
I just put them together on my "experimental" partition running Ubuntu
7.04
(with LyX 1.4.3) and for now they seem to

Hi everybody,
Since I upgraded to Ubuntu Feisty (7.04), whenever I input a special
character in math mode, I just get the name of the character, not the
rendered character itself.
For example: to get an integral sign I switch to math mode, type \int
and
press space. I
was it. I changed the encoding in Kate and all the Slovenian
characters
showed up perfectly.
Thank you Georg and Vaclav for your help!

what I want. It seem that, as I suspected, the
problem
is LyX 1.4 not handling Unicode. I'll give 1.5 a try.
Thank you very much for your help!

TeXed documents show up fine.
How can I fix this? Is it a bug, or am I missing something?

to
begin. I'll do it as soon as I can.

Hi everybody!
I want to report the results of my experiments in combining SVG figures
and
the PSFrag package in LyX, hoping that they will be useful to somebody.
The point was to draw a SVG figure in, say, Inkscape and insert it
directly
into LyX without converting it

Hi everybody,
I am writing a list of items using the LyX Description environment. In
LaTeX,
I can put as many words as I want in the header of each item (the part that
appears highlighted in bold); however, in LyX only the firs word gets
highlighted.
I've exmined the
