I'm writing maths with Lyx and I know how to change the color of a
equation by first highlighting it and then rightclicking and choosing and
then picking text style in the menu that pops up, and then personal style.

Well, what I'm doing for the time being is to connect my old-standing
laptop to my desktop using this Windows remote desktop feature and with
that, I can work.

PS: Problem is not the price of a Windows 7 update. This I can do. The
problem is that my laptop is 1.5 RAM and I think windows 7 will not run
properly on it.
