the wiki.
Now it works, it is fantastic but I wonder how many people are prepared
to go to all this trouble to get it working? It's a shame that it was so
difficult to do. Surely a clever programmer can come up with a magic
'install lyx under Windows' program that takes care of all this?

If LyX was linked up to such a CAS, this would be a big step on the way
to introducing a 'Maths spell checker'. A feature which could try to
highlight inconsistencies in lines of algebra working would be a great
incentive for both staff and students to adopt LyX.
