Keyboard lock

Lyx 1.5.5 on Ubuntu fiesty fawn. Two occasions freezes the keyboard interaction. 1)Sometimes when I save the file i am not able to edit the file name. No key works including arrow keys. 2)Sometime after inserting a citation I get back the text for editing same thing happens. any fixes?

Hi, I am using lyx 1.3.2 on redhat 7.2. In komascript book I am using bibtex reference, plain style. A string '(author?)' appears in bold just before the reference where it is refered. For example ...as refered in (author?) [15]. It shows... joby -- Joby
