You will need to use the option () from the combo-box named
'Format:', just below the textbox named 'Label:'

reconfigure Lyx.
The question now is that whether Lyx stores all the settings files in
the installation directory itself, and not use registry (for windows,
etc). Perhaps one of the developers could have answer to this more
specific question.

path of executables is more or less implicit.

A suggestion:
You can try putting everything, including the "\author" command, inside
the ERT TeX-code box, and not use built it "\author" command of the LyX.

Hi,
I installed LyX today, and noticed that the multimedia keys(above the
keyboard) dont work with LyX window active. Is this a bug, is there a work
around for this?
