Hello,
What about enclosing the fraction vf/if between delimiters, the left one being
“none” and the right one a vertical bar?
I think it should expand by default to the full height of the fraction.

Hello,
I am using LyX 2.3.7 under the latest MacOS.

Dear list members,
I have recently upgraded my MacBook to MacOs 14 “Sonoma” last week (right from

LyX (2.3.7) was one of the main apps that I have tested; it appeared to work
well at first glance. But only today I have noticed a couple of issues, mainly
shortcuts, but possibly related:

Hello,
I'm still rather new to using LyX on a Mac, and I have a couple more

I've just recently noticed that some .lyx~ files remain alongside my

They are not hidden, but the Mac file browser adds a subtitle to them:

I’m rather new to Mac, and in no hurry at all to do the upgrade. Perhaps it

I came across this message:
http://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-users@lists.lyx.org/msg45849.html
...but it's pretty old, and perhaps no longer relevant.
I hope it's not a FAQ. Once again, thanks for your help.
