lot of view DVIs before the position is correct!

This month's Linux User magazine just arrived on my doorstep, in it was a
pretty complementary article about LyX :)
It is online at http://www.linuxuser.co.uk/ - but January's edition doesn't
appear to be online yet. Watch that space.

Which seems to lend itself extremely well to automation...
It would be fantastic (for me at least) if these could appear automatically in
the cross reference list. Any way of doing this, or would it be a useful new
feature?

degrees within the float?
NB:
1) I need this to be within the .lyx file, as I need to semi-automate the
process, since I am playing with the numbers;
2) It needs to be in a table float so it appears in the list of tables.
Any ideas (or any alternative spreadsheet import methods)?
TIA,

I am having real trouble with previewing the document I am working on.
Everything works fine, but running a preview consistently shows me a previous
version. The only way to fix it easily is to close and reopen the document,
then preview it.

I have created my CV using the article class, and used Section*, Subsection*
and so on to split it up - it looks fine.

Thanks for both the explanation, and the solution.
Downloaded dvi2tty and exported that way - the output isn't quite as
nice as the Lyx ASCII export, but it will manage for the time being.
Thanks again,
Adrian.

works perfectly for DVI/PS/Latex(hence PDF) output, but when I use
the ASCII export option, the variables used in the text disappear. Is
this a bug, or am I missing something?
