Dear Coleagues, In LyX 1.6 it was possible to move from one LyX window to another with Alt-' (alt-apostrophe). In Lyx 2.0 this still works but modifies the document in the window to which one switches (the apostrophe appears in that document). Is there a way to avoid modifying the document? Thank

I know it is hard work, but I suspect it has nothing to do with the text itself, but with latex installation. I have a similar problem. There are two crude ways for the document to compile: 1. I've noticed that changing the style from "classic" to "casual" -- in Document/Configuration/Preamble -- allows it to compile. 2. commenting out the reference to the email (also in the preamble) does the trick too.
