When working with 2 screens (with Lyx on the primary), dialog boxes and the
like appear in the upper left corner of the second screen. I would rather
have them on the primary screen where I work with Lyx. Is there a way to
influence this

My sollution was to add a \clearpage before the floats that gave me a
problem.

The only way I can think of is, unfortunately, through code, or ERT (Evil
Red Text).
In your document, press CTRL+L, and a red box will appear. After your front
page you could tyoe in the red box : \pagestyle{fancy}
This will change the rest of your document class. I am writing my

My PDF got some weird page breaks on pages with images in the end (mostly),
and I think it might be that I set my floats to "here definitately". Is
there any way to force no page break?
