Thanks, maybe I'll try this. I have a lot of documents in
MS Word that I continually update, and ideally I would like
to convert all of those to LyX. So far, though, it has been
too cumbersome to be worth the while, so I continue
to use MS Word.

A problem is, as stated, that open office produces very poor latex. It seems
that the goal of the designers of the translation module was to make
the latex output resemble the formatting of the open office document, rather
than making the contents the same. Tha
I'm using LyX 1.6.7 and would like to change some of the names and styles of
theorems of the theoreme module. Is there a way to do it via the preamble or
do I have to do it the "hard way" and have to change the file
"theorems.inc"? Couldn't find any help file.

Thank you Julien for your reply. The problem has been solved in the
meantime. The reason was after reinstalling Lyx after formatting my
computer, the bibtex didn't get refreshed, even though it didn't show in the
lyx editor. For people who will have this problem in the future, just
perform a manual
