Hopefully this question has a simple answer. I'm working on a book which has
a table of contents. Is there any way to get the TOC to have dot leaders
between the chapter names and the page numbers?

I have now tried to update to 1.6.3 on my vista64 machine but have the same
problem.
If I type ½ in the child document it sometime gets updated correctly. When I
look in the source ½ is \textonehalf{} maybe this trigger something in the
compilation - makes no sense at all.

Notepad++ is also a very good Windows ASCII editor with a lot of
convenient functions (like auto-complete in Latex files). I love it!

I've recently made in LyX a report using Sweave and run into troubles
with xtable() generated LaTeX tables. One example, xtable() commands
inside floats (table, box (minipage), etc.) will make the LaTeX

I think it's definitely windows text editors that have been causing me the
problems. I went and edited the file you gave me by deleting the Preamble
and it stopped working correctly. I've tried both windows notepad and
wordpad are these known problems or do I not have some settings correct?
