This really isn't enough to go on. The "error message" you give is
simply the path to the generated .pdf file.

When you typeset, does LyX give you any error messages? If so, what
are they? (If not, does LyX generate a .pdf file, which you cannot
open?)

Can you provide a minimal sample file that fails to typeset?
