I was just curious what everyone is using. If you'd like to respond
that's fine, if not, just ignore the message. Also, could you include
if you're running the latest LyX 1.5.3.
Ubuntu (Feisty), LyX 1.5.2-1.
Running 1.5.3 under OS X at home and on the road.

I've personally been experimenting with all the distros I can.
Currently I'm on Slackware, but qt4 failed to build so I haven't been
able to get LyX on yet. I also have an iBook running Debian Etch with
1.5.3. I must say too that 1.5.3 has GREATLY increased the typing
speed
I am using Windows XP, and installed LyX 1.5.3 (the windows installer) in
it. Plus, I also installed Lyx 1.4 through the Cygwin setup. (I had
difficulty in compiling LyX 1.5.3 directly in Cygwin due to the
complications of installing qt 4)
Happy New Year~

I solved it removing spaces for m directories. I mean: My LyX file
was in ../Document 1/document.lyx and I soved moving it to
./Document_1/document.lyx.
So, if it is not alread

That version is already in updates-testing
# yum update lyx --enable-repo=updates-testing
should update lyx to the new version.

Hi,
in LyX 1.5.3 on Mac OS X some of my indices localize correctly to German
spelling (e.g. TOC = Inhaltsverzeichnis, Algorithms =
Algorithmenverzeichnis)
But these localizations did not work with "Bibliography" and "List of
Figures". Here the English words appeared - but just in the Output. In L
