fine. However, I just installed LyX on another Mac (also with 10.4)
and the default pdf viewer is Preview, which I hate. Unfortunately, I

No idea what has happened. Have you ever started lyx successfully? Can
you recall anything special after you closed lyx last time?

Well, you get what you chose.
I guess you want plain quotation marks, that are rather inch signs.
You'll get those by hitting Ctrl-S-". Note, however, that this is not

This can be done if you are using natbib as follows:
\renewcommand{\bibsection}{\section*{CUSTOM HEADER}}
where of course "\section*" can be replaced by "\subsection" or whatever

Try the setspace package or try something like
\renewcommand{\baselinestretch}{2.0}. If you do the latter, you
apparently have to issue some font-size changing command to make it take
effect. So you may have to do e.g. \Large\Normal. See /Latex Companion/,
3.1.13.

No, it is not. 10 lines is simply the qt default for combo boxes. Do you
have a good idea how this could be made configurable? Having another

I am trying to use bibtex to enter the references for my cv. The problem is

How I solved the problem:
Finally, I saved the RTF doc (2 landscape A4 pages) in a A3-portrait page
