Hello people.
For the first time, I was trying out the index feature of LyX. I've marked
tens of works for inclusion, and added the index at the end of the doc.
No index appeared. I exported Latex, and ran Latex and makeindex manually.
That worked fine, and now the index also appeared from LyX it
