I have a strange problems. I wrote 2 different books with the same lyx version
(1.3.2) and conffiguration. The first one has been successfully compiled. The
other failed.

ICIP 2004 paper upload system requires that _all_ fonts are embedded into
the pdf file (also the 13 standard ones). The tools (pdflatex/ghostscript)

wall, i discovered what produced this nasty phenomena:
when i pasted in a editor the .lyx snippet from the
german .lyx file, the editor automatically changed the
_fileencoding_ of the file from latin1 to utf-8. So
