i just recompiled the source code based on xforms instead of qt.

gorgeous, unfortunately,
some charaters in math formula cannot display correctly.
for example:
I insert a cup in formula in foo.lyx, it display as ? in lyx 1.2.1.
But now, when I open the file in 1.3.1, it

What is the problem?
Can you export your LyX file to LaTeX and try and generate the pdf
manually. It's usually easier to discover the problem this way.

It turned out to be easy to use LyX for bridge articles.
All I had to do was put 6 LaTeX statements into the preamble:
1. 4 \renewcommands for the suits of the form:
\renewcommand{\c}{\(\clubsuit\)}
2. A savebox called \NESW to draw the frame around the player
positions N E S W
3. A \newco
