Hi! I would like to collect chapters (of the book class) into one document and I'm having some problems when I include *more than one* chapter. I get errors like: ...maybe missing \item ... ...can be used only in preamble \usepackage{babel} ... How do you do that? TIA

Hi, I have woody(debian) but I don't have 'dviprint' command. So, if I want to print an error message appear. I don't know if dviprint command is deprecated in linux. How could I configure the printer options to print from lyx 1.2.1? What other commands could I use (dvips)? Thanks in advanced.

I thought I read in the documentation that newer versions of LyX (I'm using Lyx-1.2.1) recognized the -geometry command-line argument and the Lyx*geometry entry in ./.Xdefaults. Mine seems not to, unless I've gotten the syntax wrong. When I put Lyx*geometry: 720x900+283-15 in .Xdefaults,
