to the width of the page and/or relatively to the height of the
Hi Gerhard and lyx users,
First of all, I must apologize Gerhard Schuck. I was very sorry. _o_
I'm now using Japanese on cjk-lyx running on SuSE 7.3 for Sparc without
any change to cjl-lyx sources. Yes, I was wrong. It must come from some
difference in SuSE 7.3 from those of RedHat 6.2, 7.2
I just tried to compile lyx-1.2.0 in MacOSX 10.1.4 and the Makefile
after running ./configure is blank, so no compilation is possible.
I'm attaching config.log so that the Developers can fix the problem.

Hello,
I have several problems with the new 1.2.0 version. Some of these are
general and some, I think, are more specific to Hebrew.
The general problems are:
a) When I open a file created by Lyx-1.1.6fix4 (which has many figures)
and start scrolling down, Lyx crashes.
b) When trying to chan

Firstly, I have noticed a problem with figures imported from a 1.1.6 file.
The displayed bounding box is much larger than the actual figure size.
I have even noticed this when opening the User Guide (particularly the
section on figures).
I'm not sure whether this is an i

Another option is to install the lyx deb from
http://packages.debian.org/testing/text/lyx.html. Yes, it is in the
testing version of debian, but there is nothing wrong with it (testing is
almost the new stable debian now). However, you might have to upgrade a
bunch of other stuff, and you

Hello,
I use lyx-1.1.6fix4.
Maybe a little bug:
* insert a tabular
* in the first row and first column, enter "title" with quotes ("")
* the ending quote isn't in the right direction
the problem is still there when viewing in ps.
I use copy paste of a right quote as a workaround.
Your sin

Again: no one took out that feature - it was never there. We decided to move
the function to the document dialog, because it should be much clearer now

You know, sometimes the order of messages gets screwed on the way to the list

Sounds like a plan. I've looked for a download but all I find are
indirect references

Hello,
I've just tried lyx-1.2.0rc1.
It looks very fine. It works fine too but,
something is missing in the figure dialog:
I can't set the width or the height of an image relatively
to the size of the page. So, when I import a lyx-1.1.6fix4 file,
all the figures have a wrong size.
I've also a pr

Hi,
New user!
I am trying to install lyx 1.1.6fix4 on a Gnu/Linux debian system.
The current .deb package is 1.1.4fix3 and my printer didn't set up
properly with that version. So I thought a later version would be
the answer.
I downloaded lyx-1.1.6fix4-i386-2.tgz from lyx.org and using alien

I have made up a basic LyX layout file and template to support the
Elsevier preprint class (elsart.cls). They're online at
http://www.physics.usyd.edu.au/~matthewa/lyx/
There are comments inside the files.
Thanks for LyX.
Cheers,
Matthew.
