The latest lyx (1.6 fix 3 is what I am using) comes with the llncs.layout and llncs.cls files already installed. I have used these for a couple of LLNCS papers this year and they work fine. Ok, I have found the files: and they are attached in case you are using an older LyX. (For Mandrake Linux)
