The latest lyx (1.6 fix 3 is what I am using) comes with the llncs.layout
and llncs.cls files already installed. I have used these for a couple of
LLNCS papers this year and they work fine.
Ok, I have found the files: and they are attached in case you are using an
older LyX.

Hi all,
I've been trying to find a way to have Display Formulas in the same line
as some text. The reason is I don't really like the way all the symbols
look when using regular inline formulas.
This is what I'm looking for:
1. Property: [a nice display formula]
2. Property: [another display f

Hello,
I am to write a paper to be submitted to a conference and they ask for
the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) format. For this they
provide a LaTeX2e class file (and some other files
http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html ).
Is there any way I can use LyX to write this pap

Is there a way to have the content of all notes (the yellow boxes;

Hi
As per your suggestion I tried building from the srpm, but failed at the point
shown below.
Please note that I also built and installed xforms-0.89-1 from the source rpm
available in the contrib directory at the lyx site.
How can I overcome the build error?

First I made a curious oberservation:
