Hello, Not infrequently when attempting to view ps using lyx 1.1.5fix1 (ie stock SuSE 7.1 ) I get error messages and am advised to fix them. My prolem is that often I cannot figure out what they are. THis even happens with teh examples that came in the template directory ( the error shows up as

But it doesn't seem the problem is with gsview. You are talking about the little red error boxes? Click on the boxes to get a popup telling you more about the error. Sometimes it is because you haven't loaded the right packages, sometimes you might have left off a brace in a preamble command.
