I have just packaged lyx 1.1.6fix2 for my debian/unstable platform.
Feel free to get it at the url
http://www.linfe.it/LInfE-Forum/OpenLab/DebianPackages/unstable/contrib
Please notice that that package is for debian/unstable only:
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.2.3-1), libforms0.88, libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2

Thanks a lot. Could you please tell me how I can achieve it step by step.

Hi Dekal,
I tried your update but it didn't workn any better than my previous
version of IEEEtran.cls. Anything missing?

You do need to load
Hi!
Probably stupid question: I'm using 1.1.6fix2 with Debian and I am
trying to make a linebreak in a table. CF or ctrl-CR don't work. I know
from the past and from comments on this list, that there must be a knob
for 'allow linebreaks', but where is it?
Its not in Layout->Tabular and not in Edi

the last for lines are biography style, which has
a parameter for the eps-image, which is not present.
change these last four lines to standard -paragraph
layout and all should work well.

Here you go. Attached are
1. The log file I get (for the 4 error messages)
2. The IEEEtran.cls that I use
I am using a slightly modified version of IEEEtran.cls in order to put
the photographs in to the biography section.
Thanks again

I am newbie to LyX

Hi,
My problem is about the usage of IEEEtran.cls in lyx. At the beginning I
couldn't make lyx to see my IEEEtran.cls . Now it is OK but when i try to
see the dvi output it gives me errors. Herbert suggested

I included an image somewhere else than in the bibliography, and I got this
