I can print postscripts generated from other sources, such as
lpr -h test.txt (magicfilter uses enscript to produce a PS)
I am using lprng, and it is a remote printer.
I have :if=/etc/magicfil

Hi!
How do I put the page numbers on the upper right hand corner of the page 1
inch from each side.
Basically I couldn't find any customisation tool for page numbering.
Does anybody know how to print the page numbers at a particular location
on the page?

I have a table that is too wide to fit in portrait page orientation. How can
I change the page orientation to landscape for one page?

I draw pictures with xfig and export them as eps files. To use them with
pdflatex, i convert them to pdf with epstopdf. The resulting pdf file,
however, has problems whenever i have used a patterned fill in xfig.
- The pattern doesn't appear at all with xpdf
- The pattern appears in acroread, but

Ah! Now I know exactly what is the problem. The images in your PDF are
compressed using a lossy compression, you could think as if they are
converted to JPEGs.

Dear Lyxers,
When trying to write a paragraph layout for a indented/quoted list I
expected a problem.
What I want to achive is a lyx-list that is indented like one enclosed in a
quote environment but at the same time with "manual" margin settings (via
Layout|Paragraph). Up to now I inserted an e

Hi,
a few days ago there was a discussion about LyX and Ghostscript 6.5 on this

collaboration between LyX and gs 6.5 but - afaik - did not specify them.
The problem I have is that included postscript pictures get very ugly w
Hi,
I started a docbook document, hoping that this would be the base format for
