Hi,
is there a possibiltiy to incooperate the "new" German language into Lyx.
I haven't been successful in doing this. What I need is such a point in
the boxes where one can choose the languages. The output tex-output should
look like this:
\usepackage{ngerman}
\usepackafe[ngerman]{babel}

I want to install LyX on a HP-UX. "Configure" returns no error message,
but when I want to run "make" I receive error messages "... Can't open
include file 'vector'" or "...Can't open include file 'strstream'". What
do I have to do ?

Hallo,
habe folgendes Problem:
Ich möchte eine Float-LongTable erstellen, es wird aber kein
automatischer Seitenumbruch eingefügt. Auch ein erzwungener
Seitenumbruch in einer Float-LongTable bringt nicht das erhoffte
Resultat.
Wie kann ich dieses Problem geschickt lösen??

I didn't expect this to work that well actually. Yes, thanks, this is an
acceptable solution althought page numbers are still very small (I don't
need them anyway) and section headers seem to be no lar

Have you tried changing the character style?
Check out: Layout->Character (or something like that).

I'd like very much to use LyX.
First I'd like to hear comments, tips and maybe even have example

I first tried using "Slide" style but it didn't work at all (even if I
should have it installed ac

My own letter layout is still unfinished (better: unfurbished) yet
because I don't really understand the LyX concept. I'd like to add an
item to a letter layout, like "\closing" (you know what I mean),
called "\Anlagenzahl". It should do a "\renewcommand". Taken the

Well, LyX displays all LaTeX functions in red on screen, so you can just
type "\sin" and space in math mode. But if you want red in printed output,
I have
Hi,
I want to change the appearance of Chapter. I am using report class to
write my thesis. So, how can I customize lyx/latex from :
Chapter 1

Chapter 1
Introduction
After copying text from another document written in a different language
(German instead of English) all the inserted text is underlined in blue
color.
Unfortunately this doesn't always stop where it is supposed to.
What does this feature mean, how can I change it?

Hi,
How can I tell in LyX to make some of my math symbols in color?
For example
m = 2 * sin(x)
then I want "sin(x)" in red color.
Simply mark that part of the math text and choose "red" in Character Layout, doesn't
work.
Any ideas?
