colors in math mode

Hi,

How can I tell in LyX to make some of my math symbols in color?
For example

   m = 2 * sin(x)

then I want "sin(x)" in red color.

Simply mark that part of the math text and choose "red" in Character Layout, doesn't 
work.

Any ideas?
