Hi all!!
I have just finished my thesis using lyx. It's about 250 pages with
lots of pictures and tables and I haven't had any problem.
The problem is that I have to present it for a contest and the organization
only accepts formats that can be read with MS Word :-((
Is there any way to convert

Excuse me if this is too far off topic.
I installed LyX1.1.5 under win32, and it runs. My problem is that I can't
find and cygwin version of ghostscript. The cygwin site says nothing about
it. Does anybody know wher I can find it?

Hi!
this is a far shot
I guess the class is missing the paragraph-style standard which lyx
puts the first line in..
(I had the same problem converting letters between different
classes)
Try getting a template (there must be some lying around) and modify it.
have fun*

Ok, thanks. This helped a lot.
I'll see if I can find some time to make some changes.

Hello,
I use lyx on Solaris and, to type letters with accent,
I select the american keyboard (menu Options->Keyboard
and select american in Primary list).
Then, to type your a`, first enter ` then the a.
