Hi -
I noticed an unexpected (and undocumented) feature in Lyx1.1.5;
this is a version running on a DEC-alpha under Tru64 Unix, so
it may be specific to Tru64. I haven't tested on all possible
Lyx installation types.
Labels won't attach to certain equations; if you then try to
number them using m
I've got it. I tried with the rpm packages for suse from the web page of Peter

(www.uni-sw.gwdg.de/~pit/LyX) and it has worked. I have installed it checking
dependencies and it has found
no problem so i think that the problem is in the configure script of the .tar.gz
package. (But I

for now a long time, the edit table of content feature gives a table that
insists to stay in front of lyx.
I remember time where a clic on the lyx window made lyx come in front and
the table below.
this is very unpleasant and make edit/table of content nearly unusable -
one can't type in lyx wit

Hi!
I have the Lyx-1.0.4 on a solaris-x86 platform. My problem is that I would
like to make Lyx run Latex and Bibtex EVERY time I hit the buffer-view
button, in order to update the .bbl file...
Is there any way to edit the source files to accomplish this?
I know this problem may be fixed in

So it's the x headers that are missing!? Did you check wether xdevel is
installed?

Can you have them in a tab-separated-value format?
Then you can just insert them in the tabular by or inset or cut&paste

Hi,
unfortunately I have the task of importing some
HTML documentation into LyX to do some proper
formatting.
Importing the text is no problem but the tables are
a real pain.
Is there some easy way to get the tables into my LyX
document ?
Recreating all of them would be really annoying.

Well, in fact, when i try to instlla with or without any flag i get the same error

I have tyried with the possibilitie of installing it via rpm and without checking
dependencies as thomas

The current release 1.1.5 of LyX now is available running under the new
Cygwin 1.1 release on Win32. Have a look at:

The new Cygwin release ensures more stabilty of LyX on Win32.
Furthermore the fixed path of LyX now has been replac

Hi all,
can anyone help me? I'm looking for a trick or the tex sequence, to
put at the end of each page a logo (a .eps fig), for example in the middle
near the page number. I know that should be very complicated, but a tex
solution will be welcomed.
Thanks.

Hi,
I import a LaTeX file into LyX. The Latex file is generated
by the sgml package using the sgml2latex tool.
It has a few \usepackage statements at the top, which
are not found by LyX/latex: linuxdoc-sgml, qwertz and null.
When I search for these packages, they seem to be from the sgml-tools

You'll see that in the new tabular-inset I already have a WYSIWYM view
of the tabular and you're also able to set paragraph layouts in ther

Yop yop!
You can do this using "input my.pstex_t" in a float, for instance.
But I don't whether one can convert this to eps (except compile the latex
