The current release 1.1.5 of LyX now is available running under the new
Cygwin 1.1 release on Win32. Have a look at:

The new Cygwin release ensures more stabilty of LyX on Win32.
Furthermore the fixed path of LyX now has been replaced by a relocatable
path on Windows. The path now is /usr/local/lyx relative to the root
directory of the Cygwin UNIX-emulation. So LyX now can be placed on any
drive, depending only on the Cygwin installation.
A problem concerning BibTeX database fileshas been fixed, too!
There as a startup archive available to make installation easier for
non-Caywinners!
