as an alternative you might want to use LyX's internal math-limits
command, which is bound to "M

Hi folks!
Maybe I have missed something on the last days, so please excuse this
silly question...
... There was a change in file formats from LyX 1.1.4 to 1.1.5, and some
files cannot be properly read due to tables and hardspaces in different
formats. The question is: is there some conversion p
I have installed LyX.1.1.5 rpm and it works well.
It's nice because he is in my language (french).
But there is a little bug.
When I choose an item on the help (aide in french) menu, the matches are
wrong :
- Bugs (Bogues répertoriés) give TOC document
- Latex configuration give Bugs document

I've tried this (using LyX 1.1.5 under RH Linux 6.1) but when I type
\limits in math mode and hit the space key, I still see "limits". (This
is unlike typing \int. When you hit the space key, the "int" changes to
the integral sign.) I've looked at the .lyx file and see the

Howdy,
Don't know whether this one is already in the list...
It would be nice for LyX to support the short/long format for captions
(and perhaps for chapter/section/etc. names as well)
\caption[Short caption for TOC]{Lengthy caption for text}

captions when I get everything togehter in one
document.
I'm now running Lyx-1.1.5. Is

Hi,
does anyone know, how to put linenumbers with lyx? I've got
to number the lines of an interview.
Thanks
Harald Zielstorff
we had the discussion about importing jpeg-files.
http://www.pdflib.com/jpeg2ps/
has the c-source for converting jpeg to ps.
i don't really know, but might this be important
for the lyx-developers?
