Caption for long tables

Hello to all Lyxers,
I ask myself if it is possible to insert captions
for long tables (at the moment without any
captions !) afterwards !? This means the tables
have already been created and I intend to insert
captions when I get everything togehter in one
document.
I'm now running Lyx-1.1.5. Is there a special
latex-command for doing this in the preamble or
are there other ways ?
