I have russian locale configured, but if I change to russian keyboard
layout, lyx doesn't input any simbols into the document.
What would be involved in configuring it for russian input?
Thanks!

I have some questions on how to create a layout:
what I want is a Title page with a Title, author, no date and some other
data, I also want to be able to use chapters but without a label saying
for example chapter 1.

I noticed that subscripts, in math mode, are not aligned at the same level.
In postscript and dvi translation of the expression (math mode) r_a - r_b
subscripts a and b lay on different lines, b being on the lower one.
how to fix that ugly rendering?
thank you for your help

Hi all,
I've installed lyx-1.0.4-1 and xforms-0.88.1-69 rpms on my RH6.0 with no
problems, but when I try to run lyx I get the error:
lyx: error in loading shared libraries: libforms.so.0.88: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
Does anybody know what happens?
Thanks in adv

Dear all,
I have a semantic-legal type of question: I am writing the ackowledgements of a
manuscript and of my thesis; I have used (and benefited a lot from) Lyx, and I
thought it fair to acknowledge it; I had a sentence like "preparation of the
thesis was greatly facilitated by the GNU programs
Thank you very much to Juergen Vigna, Roger Williams, Tony Dancer and Jose
Oliveira. The compose key is working now.
However, similar to what happens to Tuuka, I am able to use the
compose key with Xemacs, xterm, kmail, etc, but NOT with lyx (I am using
version 1.1.3).
In case this helps anyo

Hi,
I need to write r , r dot (r with a dot above it) and r dot dot (r with
a double dot above it) representing a first and a second derivate of a
vector in math mode.
How is it possible to obtain this?
