reLyx can not handle the following simple LaTeX document:

\title{Bug report about reLyx crashing on item}

\date{April 28, 2000}
\begin{document}

ould mess up reLyX,

I'm sorry for not having seen that BUGS file.
I only looked at the list of known bugs accessible from LyX' Help menu
before reporting the problem.
