subFIGURE, as the name says, is part of a figure-environment

I am trying to put a picture (a logo) in a table cell.
What I expect is that the cell will grow big enough to
contain the image, and not much more. (Unless other table
cells force it bigger of course.)
gif and eps images seems to work with only small
problems. The top of the image touch the tab
