of IRC channels today. That said, I'm not a developer and I'm just there to

But in any case, few major open source projects don't have a significant
IRC presence. irc.freenode.net is just loaded with them. I'll start staying on
the #lyx channel, and who knows, maybe usage will grow.

In the some of the places from where I work IRC port is blocked so it was
never a choice to me. :-)
