working on a long term paper right now, and by choice I decided not to
update LyX until I am done with it (I am still using version 2.3.7 – I have
tried the beta of 2.4.0 in the past, but I cannot install it right now).

It's an older format. We are now at 104, I think. All layout files will
get updated prior to release.

The module is a user interface for the hereapplies LaTeX package. An

I believe that what in the module appears to be a double definition is
actually the definition of two function
