No problem concerning waiting for the next version. However I am heavily working on a long term paper right now, and by choice I decided not to update LyX until I am done with it (I am still using version 2.3.7 – I have tried the beta of 2.4.0 in the past, but I cannot install it right now). So, long story short, I cannot update the module's format at the moment. If someone is able update it for me and post it to this mailing list I will be very thankful. The hereapplies LaTeX package is part of CTAN and shipped with most GNU/Linux distributions, so it should not be difficult to test the module. I will also have a look at the file, and as soon as I am ready I will test it with the new version of LyX.
