I have uploaded lyx-1.4.2-cygwin.tar.gz to ftp.devel.lyx.org/pub/incoming.
Please Lars can you move it to ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/1.4.2/ ?
Thanks.

Yes, the new 1.5.20 cygwin dll has been released and thus also the
official qt3 package should be working.
I also noticed that, but I did not try to remove your uic.exe etc and try.
There are no big issues with both 1.4.x and 1.5.x. They have the same
exact functionality as on *nix.
After 1.

Hi, Enrico,
I just compiled and tested lyx/cygwin 1.4.x/1.5.x. I am happy to see
that the quit problem has been fixed so they both look quite usable.
Do you notice any big issue of these version? If not, maybe it is time
for me to join that cygwin-package mailing list.

The _moc.C files are generated from .h files that in turn are generated
form .ui files that I don't grok (is it XML?).

That sounds as if some .C file doesn't #include
for file in `find . -name '*.C'`
do

I think it is up. I simply did:

Hi Christian,
I think that that would be useful to the 2 or 3 people willing to use
a LyX/Cygwin ;-)
However, that howto really is a collection of my notes. Let me polish it
a bit, add to it a list of cygwin pa

Would you like me to place the howto on a wiki page

I do compile this for both XForms and QT. I have no problems with
